Ingredients:
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons onion
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- salt to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients, except chicken in a saucepan, simmer 10 minutes.
- Pour half of sauce over chicken and bake uncovered for 50 to 60 minutes, basting every 15 minutes, with remaining sauce. Chicken can also be grilled, dip chicken in sauce, place on grill, baste frequently while cooking.
