Barbecued Pork Chops Marinade

Paste barbecued pork chops using the right marinade recipe on the grill.


  • 4 pork chops (thick, center-cut)
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3 clove garlic, minced or pressed
  • 3 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • In small skillet, cook onion, garlic and curry powder in non-stick pan for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, corn syrup, pepper and salt.
  • Arrange chops in deep bowl. Cover with marinade. Let stand, turning occasionally, for 2 to 3 hours until done.
  • When ready to grill, remove chops, reserving marinade.
  • Grill 4 inches from source of heat, turning occasionally and basting with marinade.
